VERDI'S REQUIEM is being performed at the Barbican on Wednesday 4th April at 7.30 pm by the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra and Chorus conducted by Valery Gergiev. Book soon if you can go, it's bound to be really popular.
SONG IN THE CITY
Gavin Roberts (who has accompanied us at several concerts) is the artistic director of this wonderful series of lunchtime concerts. They feature talented singers and pianists, mainly from the Guildhall School of Music, and take place on Thursday lunchtimes in the Hall of St Botolphs Church in Bishopsgate. EXHIBITION AT THE FSA
One of our tenors, Cos Gerolemou, who is a sculptor, is currently exhibiting some of his work in the foyer of the FSA at Canary Wharf. There are six sculptures on display, three bronzes and three plaster works with silver or gold leaf. The pieces will be on show for the next six months so do go and have a look if you are nearby.
